A COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY

An unwavering commitment to community service

We are people who care about people. We believe that it is critical to show how passionate we are about giving back, not only through monetary means but also through the personal time commitments of the financial professionals in our firm. The extent of our community engagement – which spans sponsorships, fundraising, board memberships and many other types of activities – sets us apart from others in our industry.

We are passionate about making a lasting difference in our communities through our support of charitable organizations. Our leadership team has a history rooted in community outreach, annually engaging an average of 25 organizations, with most of our extensive longstanding engagements focused in three primary areas:

CHILDREN: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

To help children, we have long supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – a charity dedicated to extending children's lives and the perfect place for us to expend resource and energy. Our CEO has served as the Executive Board Director where he helped raise over 10+ Million for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's SoCal Chapter. We are also especially proud to have received the “Corporate Humanitarian Award” in 2002 and 2003 in recognition of the extensive support and commitment offered by our CEO and his team at the time to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Other children's foundations and organizations we have supported include:

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County

Mariners Christian School

Tiger Woods Learning Center

Dux in Tuxs

COMMUNITY: Hoag Hospital

In the community domain, our firm focuses on Hoag Hospital, a vital institution for the local marketplace and the Newport Beach area and one that has, for 74 years, stood as a beacon of exceptional health care.

Other community-related organizations across various social and community care causes we have supported include:

Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

Mighty Ducks Care

Orange County Business Council

The Fight Against Multiple Sclerosis

The Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce

Working Wardrobes

Wounded Warriors

YMCA, City of Beatrice, NE

EDUCATION: Chapman University

In the education domain, we have chosen to maintain various involvements with Chapman University in particular – a university with a unique educational pedigree. The largest private university in Orange County, it is also among the top-tier western region colleges and universities.

Our CEO Robert J. Waltos, Jr. has served in various roles at Chapman University:
